This was where I started keeping track of my miles and gallons for my 41st year. I am abandoning the project a few months in, (1/1/12) after putting about 2,000 miles on my truck and 100 gallons into it. It has become too complicated. When it was just me and my truck (as it has been for almost 20 years) it was simple. My wife now has a car and we are sharing the driving. In a way, it’s too bad because we’ve just moved from bike-friendly Oregon to car-friendly southern California. It would have been nice to measure the difference.
